World Golf Tournaments (WGT) are proud to announce that Portugal will again host the 2019 International Pairs World Finals.
In continuation of the original 3 year deal with the JJW Hotels & Resorts this will be the 3rd year in a row that the finals will take place in Portugal. WGT mentioned that it was spoilt for choice between 2 venues in the JJW Hotels & Resorts stable on the Algarve coast.
The world famous 5 star Penina Hotel & Golf Resort with the magnificent Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course, is a frequent holder of the Portuguese Open, and was the first course to be constructed in the Algarve, have also hosted the International Pairs Finals in 2017 and 2018.
The five-star sister hotel, Dona Filipa, with the exclusive San Lorenzo Golf Club, which has been ranked 15th in the ‘Top 100 Golf Resorts in Continental Europe by Golf World Magazine offers a 2nd option . It was designed by US golf course architects, Joseph Lee and Rocky Roquemore, and has been consistently voted one of the best in Europe for over 25 years.
It has been decided that Penina Hotel & Golf Resort will host the International Pairs World Finals from 19 to 23 November 2019.
